Built in Esquimalt, B.C. in 1908 for the Hydrographic Survey, Department of
Naval Service.
Length 163 feet, 760 tons, steel construction.
Carried 5 hydrographers, 5 ships officers and 28 crew members.

The "Lillooet" was last
used in 1932 and was replaced by C.G.S. "Wm. J. Stewart".
The "Lillooet" was sold in 1939 - converted to salvage vessel and used
in European waters during the war. Later used on Pacific Coast as a tug.
Scrapped in 1956.
